Viktoriia and Ruslan fled Ukraine amidst the turmoil of the Russian invasion. Their journey was a brave and harrowing attempt to secure safety for their family and Furnish Hope was honored to help them.

It's been a long journey. It's been a hard journey. I knew that I couldn't give up because if I gave up, I wouldn't have a home. I wouldn't have any income. I wouldn't be as safe as I am today. I wouldn't be in recovery.

My journey has been pretty rough. It took a lot of patience and still takes a lot of patience but I felt like it was ‘go time’ for me. There are a lot of roadblocks all of the time, but having my kids by my side makes all the difference for me.

Furnish Hope has shown me that kindness goes a long way. Our house got broken into while both my kids were at home. A friend helped us find a new neighborhood and move into our home that we are in now.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude. Furnish Hope has been like a soft pillow to land on when we've been hit with waves of difficult and unexpected news. You are visible evidence of God's love and HOPE for us.
