Volunteer Opportunities

Monday-Thursday
8:45-11:30amJoin our transportation team and deliver hope to the doorsteps of those in need! Includes driving FH truck/trailer, delivering furniture with other volunteers, picking up furniture donations, and loading/unloading trailer. Must be able to lift heavy furniture (couches, dressers, etc.) with the help of a moving dolly and one other volunteer. Never driven a trailer? Our experienced volunteers can train you!

Includes helping deliver furniture to recipients, picking up furniture donations, providing navigation en-route, and loading/unloading trailer. Must be able to lift heavy furniture (couches, dressers, etc.) with the help of a moving dolly and one other volunteer.

8:45-11:30amFor those who love outreach and making in-person connections with those in need. Join our transportation team on deliveries to families, but instead of doing the heavy lifting, your role would be making connections with those we serve! Hear more of their story , and provide a check in call after the delivery.

9am-11:30amHelp pull together a collection of furniture and household items for 1-4 recipients' homes each shift. Includes selecting and gathering items needed to make a house a home. Greet donors and assist recipients picking up furniture. Includes loading/unloading trailers, receiving/sorting donations, cleaning/organizing warehouse.

Volunteer at Furnish Hope & Home, our boutique resale store with a purpose. All purchases support our mission to transform empty houses into furnished homes for our neighbors in need. Includes greeting customers, sharing our mission, and ringing up sales. Create a VIP shopping experience for Furnish Hope recipients that have received a sponsored Hope Loaded gift card.
