Best Wishes for Deborah

It is with mixed emotions that we bid a heartfelt farewell to Deborah Asato, one of our co-founders and dearest team members. Deborah has been an integral part of our Furnish Hope family, contributing her talent, dedication, and commitment to support our mission and ensure others have a comfortable and welcoming home to call their own. 

Deborah’s journey with Furnish Hope dates back to the very first homes we furnished for Habitat for Humanity families in early 2019. With her keen eye for design and creativity, she brought the essence of "home" to our projects and helped to transform empty spaces into places of warmth and comfort. Over the years, Deborah expanded her contributions with the important role of Marketing and Communications Director, sharing Furnish Hope’s impact and Stories of Hope with our broader community. Through her written words, she truly embodied the voice of Furnish Hope.

Deborah and her family are now embarking on a new chapter, relocating to Southern California where her husband will start a new position. While this is bittersweet, we know that new adventures and opportunities await them. Deborah's legacy at Furnish Hope and the many lives she has touched will leave a lasting impact. Her journey with Furnish Hope has been a blessing not only to those we serve, but to all of us who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Deborah will be deeply missed. We are immensely grateful for the time she spent with us, and we wish her and her family all the best. They will always have a “home” in our hearts here in Bend.
